As previously mentioned, the number of miles that you can put on your tires will vary greatly depending on where you are driving your vehicle. For example, if you travel in a high-traffic area with a lot of stop-and-go traffic, it could cause more wear on your tires in a shorter period of time. However, on average, customers are usually able to put at least 50,000 miles on their tires.

There are some things that you can do to improve your tires´ lifespan, including ensuring that your tires always have the proper amount of air in them and getting them rotated regularly.

Is General Tire a good tire?

General Tire manufactures some of the most durable tires on the market. These tires are specifically designed to outperform the competition and also last for several thousand miles.

What does the mile warranty mean?

Certain General Tires will come with a mileage warranty of 75,000 miles. This means that if your tire does not last for at least 75,000 miles, you may be able to get a new tire at no cost to you. However, there are certain restrictions that apply.

If you cannot prove that you have had your tires rotated at least every 6,000 to 8,000 miles, your tires will automatically be excluded from the coverage. Also, if the eligible tires are over 72 months old, they are automatically excluded from the coverage, regardless of how many miles were on them.
