Your tire sidewall has a series of numbers that show your specific tire and wheel size. Match the numbers from your tire to one of the size options below.
The Load Index, or load rating, is a number located in the service description on a tire's sidewall. This number represents the tire's load capacity, the maximum amount of weight that the tire has been tested and approved to carry.
The sidewall is the area of a tire that connects the tire bead and the tread. It protects the inner plies and showcases the tire name, size and type.
This number correlates to the maximum safe carrying capacity of the tire when it's inflated to its maximum pressure. Higher load index ratings mean your tires may be able to handle a heavier load.
