The Celsius CUV is built with an optimized tread compound with a high sipe density on the interior and low sipe density on the exterior. This variable sipe density allows for enhanced traction on wet, dry, and even icy roads. This tire is equipped with slush grooves that channel snow and slush away from the tire to enhance winter traction. Furthermore, this tire features braking distances of up to 31 feet less than the average all season tire. Multi-wave sipes function doubly to combat irregular wear as well as to increase braking capabilities on wet, icy and dry roads. These sipes simultaneously minimize road noise for a comfortable, quiet ride.
