The Sumitomo HTR Enhance CX2 is a premium all-season, touring, long-lasting tire designed for crossovers, SUVs, and
pickup trucks. It offers good traction on dry roads, wet ones, and even light snow.
The Sumitomo HTR Enhance has a high-silica, super microparticulate carbon compound. The asymmetric tread pattern
improves year-round performance, delivering uniform traction. HTR Enhance CX2 by
Sumitomo Tires has straight
circumferential grooves and wide lateral notches that displace water from the tire’s pattern, significantly reducing
the risk of hydroplaning. The HTR CX2 enhances the ability to perform on snow and ice by increasing biting edges
with additional 3D zigzag sipes. Snow-to-snow traction work by the cross-designed chamfers molds into the tread
design of the HTR Enhance CX2. The tire range includes 16", 17", 18", 19", 20", and 22-inch sizes. Enhance CX2 tires have
a 2-ply polyester casing under the tread, reinforced by two wide, solid steel belts complemented by spirally wound
nylon.
