The LTX A/T2 is formulated with a light truck rubber tread compound that forms into an independent tread block pattern. This pattern is furnished with Michelin's Biting Edges that bolster traction in a wide variety of terrains, from dirt to mud, gravel, wet grass and even snow. Michelin's Advanced MaxTouch Construction generates an optimized tire footprint that delivers long lasting, balanced tread wear. Michelin's Comfort Control Technology, on the other hand, utilizes computer optimized engineering and design to decrease road noise and vibrations for a premium, comfortable ride.

The LTX A/T2 generally builds the total body composition of a 2-ply polyester cord. It all gives a reasonably good mix of durable and on-road/off-road capabilities regarding ride comfort.
