The Solus TA71 is formulated with an optimized nano-silica compound that amplifies cold weather traction as well as prolonging tread life to provide extra durability. This compound forms into an asymmetric tread pattern that delivers precision steering responsiveness and a consistent "on center" feel. A group of four, wide grooves effectively channel water away from the tire to enhance anti-hydroplaning properties. Additional sipes are optimally angled to bolster winter grip. Kumho employs jointless bead bundles to segregate vibrations and bumps for a smooth ride. Furthermore, Kumho utilizes ESCOT Casing Technology to evenly distribute cord tension across the sidewall. This feature encourages longer tread life and improved steering responsiveness. Internally, the Solus TA71 is reinforced with dual steel belts and a spiral wrapped nylon that amplify stability during acceleration.
