The Ecsta PA51 is engineered with a rigid, silica based compound featuring high-grip resins that maximize wet traction, dry grip, and handling. This compound forms into an asymmetric tread design with lateral grooves that amplifies grip. A group of four central ribs work with the stiff exterior shoulder in order to maximize cornering grip, traction, stability, and wear life. Kumho utilizes variable pitch sequence technology to minimize road noise and ensure improved comfort levels. This tire is equipped with zig-zag circumferential grooves that maintain consistent grip on lightly snowy roads. Full depth sipes, on the other hand, bolster winter traction on snowy and icy surfaces by providing reliable grip.
