The Cooper Tires incorporates its Snow-Groove technology in its Discoverer Snow Claw, which means zigzag circumferential grooves have serrations that help to improve snow-to-snow traction in deep and packed snow. Since the Cooper Discoverer Claw incorporates a densely siped tread, it has many biting edges. It is also flexible, which means winter traction and wet traction in ice occur seamlessly. Available in fitment sizes 16", 17", 18", and 20 inches. The optional use of 11mm metallic winter studs in the Discoverer Snow Claw increases traction on ice, too. It will allow the snow to intrude partially into it, which makes them dynamic in the field.
